The AkCie organises the social activities for you.Think of cosy evenings playing pool, a pub quiz and we also take part in the annual Batavierenrace!

We are the AkCie – the team that brings you the best activities and the most enjoyable moments of the year! From drinks to parties and everything in between; if we’re organizing it, you know it’s going to be amazing. Our slogan isn’t for nothing: “With AkCie around, no one will frown!” With this unique group of people, every event is a guaranteed success – and sometimes even an adventure.

Tom – our treasurer without a sense of responsibility! Tom clearly thinks it’s a waste of energy to bother with something trivial like showering after physical activity, and that’s okay – less water usage is sustainable too, right? He also tries to avoid his financial duties, but we’re glad to have him anyway because, honestly, where would we get our jokes otherwise?

Bram – the secretary who just can’t help transforming into the iconic “Moffel” from Moffel and Piertje after a few drinks! Bram also has a peculiar hobby: knocking international students off their bikes and then blaming them with full conviction. Typical Bram, always bringing his unique take on hospitality.

Justin – our speedy beer-runner who has the ability to get himself a drink faster than anyone at any event! You might not notice it when he’s drunk (Bram still needs to teach him that trick), but just wait – once the alcohol kicks in, he turns into a full-on diva.

Celine – our functionless international student from Switzerland (fingers crossed she can avoid Bram’s cycling skills). She may be functionless, but her presence adds a touch of foreign flair and neutrality, just like Switzerland itself! Our stylish Swiss might not have an official role, but she sure has a sharp radar for boys with vacation homes.

Hieke – our fiery ginger chairwoman, who not only steals torches but also mysteriously took on the role of leader. Hieke has a deep passion for… plants. Yep, she only eats greens and avoids anything that once had a face. As a proud ginger, she adds some spice to the group – and let’s be honest, her plant power works wonders in keeping this chaotic crew on track!

Noor – a standard drinker with a slight aversion to the looming reality of adulthood. She has her judgments, especially about Bram, who took over her beloved role as secretary. Noor subtly makes it clear that he just barely doesn’t live up to her level.
